} ungrateful child {
God,
I asked for change
I needed to change my life
but I didn't expect this
I feel bad
I don't want to seem ungrateful
because I know my prayer was heard
but this is really hard
God,
it sure is a funny thing
when it isn't how we expect it
we get upset about it
it's like a stinging syringe
piercing my skin to heal me
I don't like it one bit
but I know it is good for me
God,
please help me
to accept your answer
beggars can't be choosers, right?
I don't understand
the way that you work
but you know what you are doing
and I trust in you
God,
